Impressed impressed!

I originally got this for a guest stay but found my queen mattress has extra padding so the edges were just slightly bigger than the base. I contacted support chat to find my options and together we came with a plan, I'd receive a king base with two extra covers so I could cut and match. Here's me thinking I'd need to set a few hours aside to do it, come to, it's done within 30minutes, is even more stable given the pieces cut could be folded and tucked into place like the rest of the base. The edges are perfect and am now considering one for a main base bed because, it's eco friendly, you can manipulate it, paint it, fabric it, wall paper it, assemble it with such ease and even easier to move around, doesn't slide the mattress around and I can jump on it, lay on it which ever way and it's all balanced and supported and the price is fair! My previous/current bed base doesn't do all of these things. These are the reasons why I'm really impressed, impressed. Thankyou and Goodluck to your future I'll keep an eye out for the animal beds, maybe consider pet stairs as we have a Pomeranian ☺️ and he'd like it.

Communication

Hi Yona. Firstly i would love to say my son loves his Yona bed. It was so easy and quick to put together. Only down side is communication from Yona itself. It took me having to constantly email to get any answers on when the bed was being shipped or about any delays.

Hey Robin!

So glad to hear that your son loves his new bed :)

I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by our lack of communication. It looks like we dropped the ball here and for that I'm sorry. We've had an unexpected increase in demand and as a small (but growing) business we're trying to do our best to give each one of our customers a great experience.

In light of the influx in customer queries, we've actually made some changes to our customer service processes and hired an extra staff member. So communication should be rock solid from here on in!

Cheers,
Gilad - Founder @ Yona

Be sustainable

Great idea, lucky my daughter did the puzzle of putting it together. The instructions we received were for version 1, but a quick email (on a Sunday!!) and the v2 set arrived. Being older I don’t think I could have done it on my own, but now it’s up, I really like it. Solid, stable, yet able to be recycled at the end.
Thanks, Dianne

Bought in full size for my spare room. It’s very sturdy and quiet, but as the customer service team told me prior to purchase, it does not work with my very skinny tri-fold mattresses (needs to be at least 4 inches thick). I learnt very quickly that this wouldn't be suitable so I got a thicker tri-fold and it's great. So make sure you check your mattress thickness before purchasing

Spectacular!

I took a chance on this bed thinking that it might replace my traditional bed frame. It’s exceeded that and more. I weigh around 200kg, and I’ve never felt once that it’s going to collapse, or make noise when I move. I’m thoroughly impressed!

I’m all in on sustainability, so the recycled-cardboard / GridLok design really appealed. To top it off it supports heavy loads and looks great. Happy with the buy!

Eco friendly AND good value - highly recommend

I’m pretty eco-conscious so when I found a bed base made from recycled cardboard and is 100% recyclable I was instantly in! And it doesn’t sacrifice stability. Feels premium for the price.

Perfect for our rental apartment - tool-free win

Moved into a small apartment and didn’t want a bulky frame. This one snapped together in minutes with no screw drivers or allen keys. The height is very comfortable

As someone who moves every couple years for work, I love how lightweight this frame is yet still feels strong. Clean design, no tools needed to set up or pack away

Great bed base

I hate big heavy and bulky bed bases especially when you move, so we thought we would experiment with this. It’s light, easy to setup and quite cheap in comparison. We’re using it in our guest room and so far we’ve had multiple friends come and stay and we’ve had no dramas with it holding the weight of people (including couples). Would recommend

I was skeptical about a frame made from cardboard but it actually holds up really well. No squeaks, very stable. 🙂

The Scandi finish is elegant and minimal, and it was super easy to put together solo. My only gripe: the shipping took a week longer to arrive. Kudos however to the CS team, they were very communcative and helpful

Love the minimalist look, just one tiny quirk

Finally a bed base that looks sleek and feels solid. Set up solo in about 25 mins. Only thing: I wish there was a little under-bed clearance for storage. Otherwise 10/10 🙂

Everything I was looking for!

Love how light this was carrying up the stairs. Pretty easy and fun to put together. I like that when I move I'll just be able to move the four quarters without having to de-assemble or re-assemble very much. Very sturdy and looks like a normal bedframe. Would definitely recommend!

Very happy with it for our guest room!

Was sceptical about a cardboard frame, but it's held up really well so far. No creaks, no sagging. Great for our guest room!

I was skeptical but this bed rocks

I needed a new bedframe after my cute (but very cheap and poor quality) wooden one didn't survive a 3rd move. It wobbled when I rolled over in my sleep, which woke me up. I'm also plus-sized and didn't dare try....anything else on it, for fear of the legs snapping like toothpicks. Finally, I had had enough and took the legs off of it. I looked and looked for a good, extremely sturdy bedframe with a high weight limit and found almost nothing in my price range, except for a bedframe that cost less than $200, was made out of cardboard, and said it had a 6,100-pound weight limit. Surely, I thought to myself, this is some kind of internet scam where the bed arrives and it's like a dog bed or a picture of a bed or something.

After sleeping on a mattress on the floor for like 4 months, drowning in decision fatigue, knowing that I spent way too much money on new bike this year and didn't really want to spend $1,500 on bed frame, I finally decided to give it a go.

This bedframe rocks. It took me less than 30 minutes to put together by myself. It's STUPID sturdy. I've jumped on it. I've shown it to friends and we ALL jumped on it. I can flop down dramatically like a woman in a rom com after a long day at work. My only regret is that I didn't buy a headboard, but I think I'm gonna do that soon anyway. The dark brown color just looks like wood.

This bed is so versatile. I'm using it as my main bed, but if you wanted to break it down into 4 pieces for a guest room/storage situation, you could easily do so. I've also recommended it in a few plus-size groups I'm in - this is the most cost-effective bed frame I've ever seen that actually works for larger bodies!

Thanks, Yona. You guys rock.

So Far So Good

It is wild that it's so sturdy but it seems to be. I thought the outer border would be something other than cardboard, but hopefully it will last. Quick setup, sturdy and supportive. The shipping was noted as expedited but took about 3 weeks so that part was not optimal.
